Welcome

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public and International Affairs at City University of Hong Kong. My research focuses on international and comparative political economy, with an emphasis on trade liberalization, central banking, and inequality. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California in May 2021. I was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations at Harvard University (2021-22), and a Lecturer in Global Challenges at Brunel University London (2022-23).

Prior to graduate school, I worked at the University of Hong Kong’s Department of Politics and Public Administration (2011-16). In recent years, I held visiting positions at the University of Tokyo’s Institute of Social Science (2023), and at the United Nations University’s Institute on Computing and Society (2016).
